Today's Throwback Jam: The Lost Boyz- Renee (1996)

Check out this slept on classic from The Lost Boyz. The collective from South Jamaica, Queens consists of lead MC Mr. Cheeks (featured in the video), Freaky Tah, DJ Spigg Nice, and Pretty Lou. Following a string of successful albums the group split in 1999 after Freaky Tah was shockingly gunned down outside a hotel in Queens. The group has released a handful of solo projects since, as well as a compilation tape in 2005 entitled Lost Boyz Forever, but they could never quite find the same magic they had prior to the death of their former group member and close friend.
