The Pats Special Teams Played Out Of Their Fucking Minds...Which Resulted In The Dolphins Special Teams Coach Getting Fired

ESPN.com
DAVIE, Fla. -- The prime-time meltdown by the Miami Dolphins' special teams cost an assistant coach his job. Only 12 hours after a calamitous performance against the New England Patriots, the Dolphins fired special teams coordinator John Bonamego on Tuesday. Special teams cost Miami 21 points in a 41-14 loss Monday night. Two blocked kicks led to touchdowns, and the Patriots returned a kickoff 103 yards for another score. The Dolphins (2-2) also had a punt blocked a week earlier in a loss to the New York Jets. The back-to-back divisional defeats dropped Miami to third place in the AFC East.Assistant special teams coach Darren Rizzi will replace Bonamego, coach Tony Sparano said. Bonamego was in his 12th NFL season and had been with the Dolphins since Sparano became head coach in 2008.
"It's a hard decision to make," Sparano said. "I know how hard this guy works. Nobody works harder than him at what he does."

Wow...you might never see a performance like that ever again. The special teams was just playing out of their minds with blocking a punt, blocking a field goal, scoring off the blocked field goal, and Brandon Tate running a kickoff back. They just banged on the Phins special teams and the Dolphins had to take it out on someone and they took it out on the special teams coach by giving him the boot..sorry bro.The Pats were the first team in NFL history to score on a passing TD, a rushing TD, scoring on a interception, running back a kickoff (103 Yards), and scoring off a blocked field goal in the same game, that is fucking insane! Then you got my boy Rob Ninkovich which nobody thought anything of him before this game picking off two passes, one was clutch because the Phins were driving for a score, and he picked up a sack. Pat Chung just absolutely broke out in this game with having both of those blocks and returning a pick to the house. Danny Woodhead who the Pats just picked up from the Jets showed everyone what he could do by helping the Pats drive down the field and pick up the score with a pass from Brady. So many people contributed who you would not think of and it was just great...lets just hope the Pats can keep this up, go into the bye week next week and come back stronger than ever. Oh yeah and don't forget the best Quarterback in the game just picked up his 100th career victory.
